I’m looking forward to becoming more familiar with p5.js! I drew a frog’s face with a tongue using these 2D primitive shapes: background, fill, noStroke, arc, ellipse, and rect. I couldn’t figure out how to use colorMode(), so I resorted to declaring variables of colors using color(). I’m close to figuring out noStroke and noFill. Controlling a rectangle, triangle, or quad became much clearer later when I recreated the Mondrian drawing found in the take home quiz.
I wish I could have created something wackier, like this face below (based on my group project with Yang). While I could draw curves to create the shape, I wasn’t sure if that would create enough of a shape or “box” to ultimately fill it with the color yellow.
